David Poston Obituary
David L. Poston, 64, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born May 23, 1950, in Springfield, Mo., passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014.
David was a veteran of the U.S. Army 173rd Airborne Brigade.
Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon, nee Ward, Poston; two daughters, Heather Welborn and Lauren Poor; a granddaughter, Sierra Taylor; his mother, Mary Poston; two sisters, Janice Moore and Becky Poston; and two brothers, Doug Poston and Steve Poston.
Donations may be made in memory of David to the Wounded Warriors Project or to Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, Fla.
Funeral: A private service celebrating David's life will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, in Bradenton, Fla.

MY SISTER ROSALIE WALKER (WILKE) AND I GREW UP IN HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS WITH DAVID. DID GRADESCHOOL, JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL WITH HIM. ENDURED THE LOSS OF HIS FATHER WHO DIED AT AGE 39 WITH DAVID. CALM PERSON WHO NEVER BOTHERED ANYONE. A GREAT GUY!
