Dennis Keck Obituary
Dennis Roy Keck, 64, of Belleville, Ill., born Friday, Dec. 31, 1948, in Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at his residence.
Dennis worked as an iron worker for Local 396. He was a member of East Lodge 504 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine, Color Guard, Belleville Shrine Club and a life time member of the Little Devils.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester J. "Dick" Keck; son, Dick A. Keck; and his brother, Sylvan "Todd" Keck.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie A. "Margie", nee McCartney, Keck; daughter, Tonya D. (Lance) Krug of Belleville, Ill.; stepdaughter, Diana L. (Robert) Steinkamp of Oakdale, Ill.; his mother, Pearl, nee Vogt, Keck of Belleville, Ill.; grandchildren, Megan and Jordan Krug; step-grandchildren, Kerri and Christopher Steinkamp; and great-granddaughter, Ambriella Krug.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or Belleville Area Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed online at www.kurrusfh.com.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill. There will be a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at Kurrus Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
