Doris Day

Doris Jeanne Day, 79, of Florissant, Mo., born in Collinsville, Ill., passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015.

She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice R. Day; and beloved daughter of the late Lee and Dorothy Willoughby.

Doris was the loving mother of Drew Richard Day, Dawn Angela Day-Meier, Danielle Denise Murphy, Derek Richard Day, and Graham Lee Willoughby Day; the loving grandmother of Kaitlyn, Victoria, Tyee, Paul, and Julian; dear sister of the late Joan Schiller, and Dotty Boehm.

Our dear sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Atonement, or to a charity of one's choice.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Road, Florissant, Mo.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Lutheran Church of Atonement, 1285 North New Florissant Rd., Florissant, Mo. Interment will be at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill. Following the interment, there will be a luncheon at the church.

Just want to extend thoughts and prayers to family of Doris; a very kind lady that always remembered me and my family. We were related to Kathy and Bernice and always loved seeing Doris, their next door neighbor. She is with our Mothers now along with our Lord in heaven.
