Duane Massey
Duane Vincent Massey, 48, of Belleville, Ill., born Aug. 4, 1955, was called to his eternal life with God on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003.
Mr. Massey was fascinated with the retail world and was employed as a manager at Walgreens for 19 years.
He is survived by his dear parents, Finis D. and Josephine "Aunt Jo" Massey; his beloved children, Tamara McCellan of St. Louis, Mo., Deandreis "Dee" Massey of St. Louis, Mo., Aaron Massey, Alia Massey and Ashley Massey, all of East St. Louis, Ill.; two brothers, Michael "Micky" Massey of Tennessee, Finis "Pepe" Massey II of North Carolina; four sisters, Jackie Dixon of St. Louis, Mo., Denise Massey of Minnesota, Louis, Lorna James of St. Louis, Mo., and Margrette "Margie" Massey of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation: At the wishes of the family, visitation will be private, open only to the family members and close friends.


Funeral: A chapel memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at Calvery Cemetery, West Florissant, Mo. Following the memorial service, the family will receive friends at a celebration of life repast at St. Alphonsus Rock Church Hall, St. Louis, Mo.
