Fern Mannisi
Fern Mannisi, nee Yetto, 82, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 19, 1920, in Collinsville, Ill., died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Mannisi retired as a sales clerk with the former Libson Shop, Collinsville, Ill. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill., where she was a member of the Rosary and Altar Societies. She also was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Fern was a past secretary of the Collinsville Senior Citizens as well.
Mrs. Mannisi was preceded in death by her husband, Santo "Sammy" Mannisi, whom she married Oct. 28, 1945; her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth, nee Farenzio, Yetto; four sisters; and a brother.
Surviving are a son; Joe (Dianna) Mannisi of Edwardsville, Ill.; two daughters, Kathleen (Jim) Miller of Milwaukee, Wis., and Judy (Jeff) Engle of Nixa, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Lauren French, Lindsay Acker, Tyler Engle, Jessica Mannisi, Timothy Mannisi, Joshua Miller and Mark Miller; and a great-grandson, Bobby French.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or in the form of Masses.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
