Fred Wair Obituary
Fred Wair, 65, of East St. Louis, Ill., born Oct. 6, 1939, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at River Bluffs Rehab and Nursing Center, Cahokia, Ill.
Mr. Wair is survived by his wife, Thelma Wair of Little Rock, Ark.; a son, Scott (Valerie) Wair of Plainfield, Ill.; two grandsons, Brennan Wair of Plainfield, Ill., and Gabriel Wair of Plainfield, Ill.; two brothers, Jerry (Bobbie) Wair of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Murphy Wair of East St. Louis, Ill.; a sister, Cynthia Betty Lou (Freddie Lee) Jackson of Pinebluff, Ark.; two aunts, Mamie Moore and Lula Williams; an uncle, Herman Haynes, all of East St. Louis, Ill.; two nephews, Murphy Wair Jr., and Baron Wair; and five nieces, Terrie, Gretchen, Alma, Rosalyn and Candace.
Visitation: Friends called Thursday, June 2, 2005, at St. Paul Baptist Church, East St. Louis, Ill.
Funeral: A religious services was held Thursday, June 2, 2005, at St. Paul Baptist Church, East St. Louis, Ill., with the Rev. Obie Rush officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Little Rock, Ark.

To Thelma and Scott and famly,
You have our deepest sympathy in the passing of Fred. He was such a good and kind man. I remember him to be a true and dedicated educator. His Christainity was always evident and solid in his dealings with others. And how he did love to sing. His earthly journey has come to an end. The works of his life have touched many and will remain a legacy in remembrance of Fred. May he rest in eternal peace in God's grace.
