Gary Wilson Obituary
Gary Lee Wilson Sr., 64, of Troy, Ill., born June 9, 1949, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at his residence.
Gary was the owner of Quality Vinyl Siding & Construction in Troy. He was a U.S. Marine Corps., Vietnam War veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 1300, Granite City, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Wilson; a granddaughter, Addison Smith; and a sister, Betty Wilson.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria, nee Rarick, Wilson of Collinsville, Ill., whom he married on Nov. 22, 1969, in Caseyville, Ill.; a son, Gary Lee Wilson Jr., of Staunton, Ill.; two daughters, Gina (Larry) Marcus of Highland, Ill., and Jaime (Dean) Smith of Collinsville, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Danielle Wilson, Austin Marcus, Adrianne Wilson, Morgan Marcus, Chase Wilson, Mason Marcus and Jackson Smith; his mother, Florine Wilson of Lebanon, Ill.; eight brothers and sisters, Larry (Debbie) Wilson of Troy, Ill., Marilyn (Jerry) Jordan of Lenzburg, Ill., Barbara (Lon) Montgomery of Collinsville, Ill., Brenda (Bill) Hendricks of Collinsville, Ill., J.C. (Diane) Wilson Jr. of Lebanon, Ill., Patti (Rodney) Sommers of Collinsville, Ill., Mike (Karen) Wilson of Troy, Ill., and Terry (Joan) Wilson Sr. of Lebanon, Ill.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.hakassly.com.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill. VFW Post 1300 will stand Honor Guard.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., with Pastor Shane Bishop officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.

Gloria and Loved Ones, I just at this moment discovered that I failed to sign Gary's Guest Book, and I apologize. My mom, as you know, had just passed 8/3/13 and I was 'in a fog' for several months afterwards. Please forgive me for that oversight. You know that my family loves you and your family, as we did Gary.
