Glenda Case Obituary

Glenda Case

Glenda L. Case, nee Oakley, 71, of Freeburg, Ill., born June 9, 1939, in Bell City, Mo., passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at her residence.

Glenda had worked at Southwestern Bell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Oakley.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Donald Case; her son, Alan D. (Sharyn) Case of Burbank, Calif.; her grandchildren, Shauna, Deanna and Kelly Case; her mother, Rosena Oakley of St. Louis, Mo.; her sister, Christine Jines of St. Louis, Mo.; and her brother, Ralph J. Oakley of Imperial, Mo.; she is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Matt Friz, officiating. Burial will be in Palmier Cemetery in Columbia, Ill.

Glenda was such a great neighbor. I will miss talking with her when she took the puppies outside.. Don, you and the rest of your family will be in my prayers.
