Helen Billetdeaux Obituary
Helen Billetdeaux, nee Johnson, 70, of Swansea, Illinois, born Wednesday, January 15, 1947, in Kirksville, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh, Illinois surrounded by loved ones.
Helen worked as a Clerk for Famous Barr/May Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George F. and Lena H. nee O'Bryant, Johnson; and a brother, Ralph Johnson.
Surviving are her husband, Paul J. Billetdeaux of Swansea, IL; children, David (Clare) Billetdeaux of St. Petersburg, FL, and Paula J. Peppers of Fairview Heights, IL; brother, Leo Johnson of Clinton, IA; four grandchildren, Kathryn (Reyes) Cardenas, David Billetdeaux (Tyra Austin) Jordan Peppers, and Hunter Peppers (Caitlyn Black); one great-granddaughter, Delanie Cardenas; a great-grandchild due in May; sister-in-law, Marylou (Marlin) Thomas of Zephyrhills, FL; brother-in-law, Eugene (Sandy) Billetdeaux of Johnstown, PA; as well as dear nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belleville Area Humane Society or Donor's Choice. Condolences may be expressed online at www.kurrusfh.com.
Services: A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois. Private interment.
