Jacklyn Taylor
Jacklyn Florence Taylor, nee Rees, 73, of Belleville, Ill., born Nov. 9, 1930, in Mount Vernon, Ill., died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at Dammert Geriatric Center at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Belleville Historical Society; St. Elizabeth's Hospital Auxiliary; and a past member of the Belleville Parks and Recreation Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Clay" Taylor, whom she married Oct. 21, 1950, and who died July 29, 2001; and her parents, Edward and Florence, nee Bennis, Rees.
She is survived by four sons, Steve (Lori) Taylor of Innsbruck, Mo., Nick Taylor (fiancee Yukimi Umehara) of New York, N.Y., Michael (Karen) Taylor of Clark, Colo., and Chris (Lana) Taylor of Belleville, Ill.; a daughter, Claire "Petey" (John) Brinker of Stevensville, Mich.; and four grandchildren, Andrea, Madison and Taylor John Brinker and Molly Taylor.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., and from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows Apartment Community Chapel, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows Apartment Community Chapel, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Andrew Chalkey officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
