Fairview Heights, Illinois - James G. "Jim" Beaird Sr., 92, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Sunday, September 15, 1929, in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at his residence in Fairview Heights, IL.
James was a retired officer for the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis, MO. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL, VFW Cypress, Texas (Life Member), Gothic Lodge 852 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine (Directors Staff) and Southern Illinois Court 86 ROJ. He was a Veteran that served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally T., nee Thornell, Beaird; parents, Thomas T. and Thelma, nee Dunn, Beaird; brothers, Thomas R. Beaird and Edward G. Beaird; and
sister, Estelle Moise.
Surviving are his son, James G. (Debi) Beaird Jr., of Cypress, TX; sisters, Mary N. Indermark of Collinsville, IL, Thelma L. (Larry) Mueller of Fairview Heights, IL and Betty H. (Gary) Hilton of Ellington, MO; grandson, Robert James "Robbie" (Marcela) Beaird; great-grandson, William James Beaird and great-granddaughter, Olivia Maria Beaird.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL.
Visitation: Visitation from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm, Tuesday, April, 19, 2022, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL, Jester Walk Through at 11:13 am followed by a Masonic Service at 11:30 am.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
His service may be viewed on line starting at 12:20 pm through the Kurrus website live stream link.
