Percy, Illinois - James M. Pyle, 57, of Percy, Illinois, formerly of Dupo, Illinois, born January 24, 1965, in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Sparta Community Hospital.
James was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in Dupo, IL. He was an avid midel railroad collector.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James R. and Kathryn, nee Beck, Pyle; his father-in-law, Marion Henson; and a brother-in-law, Lee Foster.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry, nee Henson, Pyle; a son, James S. (Tabatha Cast) Pyle, a step daughter, Brandi Snider, and a step son, Dustin Snider, all of Percy, IL; a brother, Mike (Sandra) Pyle of Dupo, IL; a sister, Sue Foster of Clarksville, TN; mother-in-law, Viola (Jim) Penson of DuQuoin, IL; four, grandchildren, Brinnleigh Kaye Pyle and Addilyn, Braelyn, and Landree Snider; and his bulldog Ellie. He was also a dear nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Penson and Pastor Phillip Easton officiating. Burial will be in Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, Illinois.
