Marcia we are so sorry to hear of John's passing.
We have fond memories of the time we spent with both of you. He was a great surgeon and I loved being in cases with him. Even more important he was a wonderful person that gave so much to everyone he knew. Our prayers are with you and your family. Karen and Rick Kreiman, Garnavillo, Iowa.

What a beautiful sole he was . Wonderful Dr . who we was very glad to have him in our city . He treated me when I was ten yrs old . Had stomach problems . He was a dandy . RIP Doc .

"To Marcia and family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss." Dr. Gaskill was my surgeon in 1971 and whom I have the utmost respect for his care. He was one of Alton's finest surgeons and very particular how his patients were cared for after surgery. He will be missed.

He has been my dear friend for 32 years he's told me so many jokes gave me lectures we always would laugh the greatest man I ever knew I'll never forget everything I've learned from him my deepest sympathy to the family I was always his white lightning and Doc Yakety Sax will still play
