Collinsville, Illinois - Judith Borders, 82, of Collinsville, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her home in Collinsville, IL.
She was born October 29, 1938 to James and Margaret (nee Treaty) O'Leary. She married William (Bill) Borders, Sr. on January22, 1955 in Collinsville, IL.
For many years Judith enjoyed traveling with her husband to Florida. Judith was a loving mother and grandmother. The family would like to give a special Thank You to David Martin and Heartland Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Borders; parents, James and Margaret O'Leary.
Judith is survived by her children, William P. Borders, Jr., John Borders; granddaughter, Taylor Steele; brothers, James Jack O'Leary, Jimmy O'Leary; sisters-in-law, Nancy Whitting, Shirley Yarbrough.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Visitation: Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
Funeral Service: Thursday, April 15, 2021, 1:00pm, April 15, 2021, Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
Clergy: Ron Habermehl.
Interment: Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
