Kathleen Straub
Kathleen L. Straub, nee Dannehold, 85, of Columbia, Ill., born Nov. 19, 1922, in Millstadt, Ill., died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Straub was a life long member of Immaculate Conception Church, Columbia, Ill., and a member of Columbia Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur G. Straub; her parents, Leo H. and Rosa J., nee Kolmer, Dannehold; a brother, Warren Dannehold; and a sister, Evelyn Janson.
Surviving are her children, Lynette "Lynn" Toenjes of St. Louis, Mo., Colin Straub of New Baden, Ill., Michael (Sherry) Straub of Columbia, Ill., and David Straub of Columbia, Ill.; a granddaughter, Michelle Schmiemeier; sisters, Alberta Hicks, and Rosalie (Harold) Baum; brothers, Harold (Irene) Dannehold and Eugene Dannehold; and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made in the form of Masses, or to Immaculate Conception Church, Columbia, Ill., or American Stroke Association. www.quernheimfuneralhome.com

Visitation: Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, and 8 to 9:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Church, Columbia, Ill., with Father Steve Gira officiating. Burial will be in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Waterloo, Ill.
