Labib Barhoumi Obituary

Labib Barhoumi

Labib Hafez Barhoumi, 66, of Desloge, Mo., born Aug. 20, 1945, in Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Barhoumi's enjoyments in life were cooking, traveling, wood working and family. Labib was an avid traveler, traveling around the world a total of four times. He was a fantastic cook, making some of the best meals his family and friends have ever had. In his spare time he would craft anything and everything from wood. His most enjoyment of course was his family especially his grandchildren. One of Labib's greatest achievements was becoming an American citizen. He took great pride in the fact that he had been an American Citizen for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife, Carol, nee Campbell, Barhoumi; children, Jamil Barhoumi and Joesph (Nicole) Barhoumi; step-children, Keith (Aarya) Saunchegraw and Colby (Brittany) Tinsley; five grandchildren, Tatem, Jaxon, Adrian, Micah, and Katy; brothers, Bassam, Nabil, and Issam Barhoumi.

Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
