In this memory section, I have so many memories I could share that we made together over the years. Our first memories started when we just little guys and all our (very) many aunts, uncles and cousins would come out to the farm for Sunday afternoon visits to grandma. The adults would visit as we all ran around and found trouble to get into. Then, we would eat hamburgers that Uncle Oliver brought from Northgate restaurant. As we grew up our get togethers moved from running around the farm to driving around in cars, many times way too fast (heck, most times). We continued to have good times after we got married and our families got together to go out to eat, visit or go to family reunions. One thing that always remained constant was our love for cars. Many recent memories of going to NASCAR races and taking your Corvette to be judged at many events. Good memories, good times and a good cousin. Rest in peace, buddy. There is a quote that says: "Those we love can never be more than a thought away for as long as there's a memory, they live in our hearts." Debbie and girls, we hope that during this time of grieving your happy memories will give you joy and the good Lord will grant you peace.

Myself and my father are deeply saddened by this news. Larry used to go to the stock car races when I was young and he and my dad were friends. He won a teddy bear and gave it to me (I was probably 9 or 10). After that my parents and I referred to Larry as Teddy Bear. Fast forward to a couple months ago. My dad was in a rehabilitation center with Larry. Larry brightened my dads day. They ate meals at the table and Larry would stop by my dads room to talk. I will never forget his acts of kindness. I hope he knew what a bright light he was. Prayers of peace and comfort to his family and loved ones.
