Uncle Lorenzo, I will always have fond memories of you and my childhood. I remember the countless Cardinal games, shopping trips to Schnucks, many of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls, and countless trips with you and my cousins.
I miss you and the happy days of my youth. You taught Melanie and me how to drive the Forenza! I never pass by Dr. Scholls shoes without thinking of you. May you rest in peace with my father and Uncle Jesse. Love Always, your niece, Janet Maun

To the Maun family,
My deepest sympathies go out to you. Your father was a gifted surgeon. Our families were friends for many years (probably long before you would remember) but just know my prayers remain with you.

My sympathies to the family of Dr. Maun. He was a wonderful, talented man who helped so many people.
As an eight year old, I was one of Dr. Maun's patients -- he literally reattached my nose to my face after a horrible bike accident. He was an amazing surgeon with a true gift for helping children. I think of him fondly when I look in the mirror and see a face that is not scarred. God bless.
Best reagrds,

Dr. Maun was a family friend during the late 70's early 80's. He saved my son's finger which was cut by a riding mower. We will remember him in our prayers. Condolences to his children and grandchildren.

Dr. Maun was ahead of his time in medicine. He was a caring and compassionate person. He loved his family and all of his children were his greatest joy. I will forever be greatful to him for his wonderful care and for saving my life by diagnosing cancer that numerous other Dr.s overlooked for more than a year. May you rest in peace in heaven. My deepest sympathy to his entire family for their loss. M McGrew, O'Fallon, Il.

I will always be indebted to Dr. Maun. I was 4 years old back in 1967 when Dr. Maun saved my arm that was nearly severed in a car accident. I have never forgotten that without him, I would not have use of my left hand and lower arm. May you always know how much he was loved and appreciated by his patients. May God bless him and I will keep him always in my prayers. Linda McPherson (nee: Richardson)
