Waterloo, Illinois - Margaret J. Erwin, nee Lessen, 97, of Waterloo, IL, died April 17, 2023, in Waterloo, IL. She was born January 29, 1926, in Belleville, IL.
She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends Nancy "Boo" Prather and Carmen Kohler.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Leonard A. Erwin; parents Joseph William and Mabel Lessen nee Burns; and sisters Billie Blim and Charlotte Hamel.
She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Belleville, IL and Eastern Star.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Zoar Church - New Hanover, IL or ALS
Visitation: 10 AM until time of service Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Quernheim Funeral Home
Funeral: 11 AM Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL
