Marie Palmier Obituary
Marie L. Palmier, nee Allen, 91, of Belleville, Ill., born Nov. 28, 1914, in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Eden Village Retirement Center, Glen Carbon, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver H. "Ollie" Palmier; her parents, Ernest and Mary, nee Walters, Allen; two brothers, Walter and Earl Allen
She is survived by her daughter, Pat (Thomas) Cygan of Belleville, Ill.; her son, Robert T. (Juanita) Palmier of Glen Carbon, Ill.; six grandchildren, Tracy Jungmann of O'Fallon, Ill., Angie (David) Roustio of Independence, Mo., Sherri (Nicholas) Sharp-Currie of Baltimore, Md., Brett (Tamara) Palmier of Edwardsville, Ill., Dr. Michael Cygan of Arlington, Va., and Brad Cygan of Belleville, Ill.; eight great-grandchildren, Bailey Jungmann, Aleigh Jungmann, Thomas Roustio, Annalee Roustio, Holly Roustio, Bennett Roustio, Zacharie Currie and Benjamin Currie; a brother, Charles (Jane) Allen of Bullhead City, Ariz.; a sister, Helen (Wilson) Jones of Bakersfield, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 , 2006, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, Ill. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Marie's family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Eden Village Care Center Alzheimer's Unit for their loving care of Marie.
