Melba Everding Obituary
Melba Everding, 88, of Red Bud, Ill., born May 21, 1929 in Red Bud, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Oak Hill in Waterloo, Ill.
Melba was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill. She worked at the Red Bud Cafe, Country Kitchen and also on the farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Everding; and her parents, Alvin and Selma, nee Geitz, Haase.
Surviving are her daughter, Deb (Harvey) Liefer; her sons, Steve Everding and Brian (LuAnn) Everding; and her daughter, Pam (Joe) Deterding; grandchildren, Angie (Ted) Schrader, Missy (Chris) Toenjes, Scott (Beth) Liefer, Aaron Deterding, Alex Deterding, Ashley (Matt) Mueller and Cassie Everding; great-grandchildren, Madi, Chase and Bax Schrader, Lydia and Carter Toenjes and Charlie Liefer; sister, Bernett Wright; and nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be on from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill., with Rev. Scott Hojnacki, officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill.
