I remember many times as a child standing behind Sally &/or Mel looking at the hand they were dealt in the card game at Grandma & Grandpa's house thinking I was just trying to learn how to play the game and asking questions like "Is that good to have two kings?" then wondered why all the cards folded and they had to start the game over again ha-ha. Many good memories of Sally & Mel at Grandma & Grandpa's and even in Minnesota. I still miss my own grandparents terribly and Mel is another icon in our lives to move on. Our thoughts are with you all.

To my Friday night sweetheart,
I always looked forward to you waiting at SIA just to see what crazy outfit I would come in wearing on Friday. You would get such a kick out of Gary yelling across the bar when we left, "Mel! I'm leaving - your in charge." All of us at Swansea Fish Stand will truly miss you. You will be in our thoughts always,
Cora
