December 26, 1948 - October 7, 2025
Collinsville, Illinois - Michael Fedorsak, 76, of Collinsville, Ill., passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born to Michael and Dorothy Fedorsak in Buffalo, N.Y. Michael is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and cousins.
Michael served 51 years between active duty and civil service. He was a proud Air Force veteran - a testament to his lifelong dedication to his country and the men and women he served alongside. He began his distinguished career serving in the Pentagon at Washington, D.C., and his last assignment was in Air Mobility Command at Scott AFB. Michael's commitment to excellence and integrity defined both his career and his character.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for the youth group, at 1300 Beltline Road, Collinsville, IL 62234.
A celebration of Michael's life will be announced at a later date.
The family is being served by Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, IL 62034.

I am saddened to hear of the family's loss of Michael. I hadn't realized his athletic past. Maybe r his military background.
