Fairmont City, Illinois - Patsy F. Petty, age 84, of Fairmont City, IL, born on November 18, 1938, in Des Arc, AR, died on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her residence.
Patsy was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was a faithful Christian and loved the Lord. Working with WM's, at Washington Park AG Church, was the highlight of her ministry. One of her greatest joys was making peanut brittle to raise funds for Missionaries. She was also the Missionette Director. Throughout her life she had a passion for many crafts such as genealogy, quilting, crocheting, gardening, oil painting and ceramics; she was also a very good cook!
She worked as a bookkeeper at Century Cash Register Company and excelled in the Shoe Department at the Collinsville Walmart. She also maintained a Rental House Business and made good friends with her tenants.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, U.L. Petty; her second husband, Alton T. Blankenship; her parents, Jesse Ralph and Oddie Lee, nee Sluder Weatherley.; and her brother, James Russell Weatherly.
Patsy is survived by her children, Steve (Rebecca) Petty of Granite City, IL, David (Michelle) Petty of Oak Grove, AR, Linda (Mark) Anderson of Maryville, IL, and Phillip (Shannon) Petty of Freeburg, IL; her 10 grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her two brothers, Jimmy Ray (Mary) Weatherley and Jesse Ralph (Janice) Weatherley.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL, with Rev Mark Maynard officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
