Paul Eichelmann
Paul H. Eichelmann, 79, of Waterloo, Ill., born Jan. 29, 1929, in Waterloo, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, in Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Eichelmann, was a clerk/laborer. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Monroe County Farm Bureau.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roland P. and Mabel Eichelmann; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emil and Olga Gummersheimer; a daughter, Linda Eichelmann; grandchildren, Patrick and Joseph Krebel, Angie Baldwin, Zechariah, Isaiah and Daniel Turnquist; brother and sister-in-law, Otto and Millie Eichelmann; sister, Opal Scheibe; and brothers-in-law, Art Marquardt, Emil Gummersheimer Jr. and Harold Gummersheimer.
Surviving are his wife, Leola, nee Gummersheimer, Eichelmann of Waterloo, Ill.; his children, Brenda (James) Krebel of Columbia, Ill., Sandy (David) Baldwin of Merriam, Kan., Carol (Raymond) Turnquist of Columbia, Ill., Kevin Eichelmann of Waterloo, Ill., and Bob (Denise) Eichelman of Waterloo, Ill.; grandchildren, Melissa (Andrew) Yontz, Brian (Michelle) Zipfel, Keri (I'van) Peterson, Stephanie (Gary) Francis, Travis Eichelmann, Stacy (Jeff) Davis, Matthew Turnquist, Christy (Craig) Reed and Jaylon (Natalie) Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Andrew Zipfel, Cole, Owen and Hailey Francis, Kaitlyn Eichelmann, Hunter and Gage Reed, Haydn and Asher Baldwin; his sister and brother, Arlou Marquardt and Wesley (Dixie) Eichelmann; brothers-in-law, Willard Scheibe and Leland (Sandy) Gummersheimer; and sister-in-law, Violet Gummersheimer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo, Ill., American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday Oct. 12, 2008, and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at De Fabio Funeral Home in Waterloo, Ill.

Funeral Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at St. Paul United Church of Chirst in Waterloo, Ill. Interment will be in Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo, Ill.
