Dear Holdener Family: I remember Mrs Holdener from St Albert's and then OLA. She and my mom (Rosemary Price) were friends and they were quilters together. I remember Mrs. Holdener as a s sweet, kind and gentle woman. She has joined your father and all of God's angels and is looking forward to us all meeting again .

I remember Pauline as a sweet, kind, gentle person. I lived on Old Lincoln Trail next to the beginning of the long, gravel road that led to the farm house where she lived. I occasionally chatted with her as she (in her 80's) walked by my house from the farm house on her way to her mail box on Old Lincoln Trail. I got married and moved. My mother then became ill and I had to sell her house when she could no longer live there. However, I always wondered what happened to the wonderful lady who lived at the end of what I knew as Greg's road. Now I know... she is in heaven.

Aunt Pauline was such a gentle soul. She always had a smile and a kind word for you. When we were small she always treated us kids individually and always thought we were wonderful, never a burden. At my Dad's (Norman's) funeral Aunt Pauline shared some time, and comforting, insightful, personal thoughts on life, death, and afterlife. It was a difficult time for me but she lightened my spirits. She was very good at that with each person she met, I suspect. Jim Siegel

I remember Aunt Pauline's sugar cookies at Christmas time. You knew there were hers by the decorations. I also remember Mom & I taking her shopping for the dress she wore for Dick & Marie's wedding. She didn't drive, so we were glad to take her. I also remembering her children and Carl & I planning the double surprise party for their 45th wedding anniversary as well as my Mom & Dad's. That was in January 1983. They all were surprised. It was a joy to do this for them.
