Randall Benson Obituary
Randall G. Benson, M.D., 78, of Millstadt, Ill., born Saturday, Feb. 1, 1936, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at his residence.
Dr. Benson was a retired physician who worked for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn S., nee Casper, Benson; son, Bradley Benson; daughter, Susan Wright; and parents, Harold T. and Violet, nee Graham, Benson.
Surviving are his children, Rebecca Bailey of O'Fallon, Ill., David (Stacie) Benson of Swansea, Ill., and John (Lesley) Benson of Millstadt, Ill.; grandchildren, Jessie, Molly, Miles and Bradley; and best buddies, Jack, Frank, and Paul.

Funeral: By his request, cremation was held. Private interment will be held at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.

I will miss you Uncle Randall; say hi to Aunt Jackie and Brad and Susie. Love you. We had such good times growing up; you, Aunt Jackie, Becky, Brad, David, Susan, John, my mom (Aunt Jackie's sister) and dad, Kim, Mike, Mary - these were the best times of my life. Love you, Terry. Rest in Peace

Dr. Benson was the Doctor for myself and my wife. I am a Physician and Dr. Benson was the doctor for several Physcians in this area.We knew of his skill and he was a Doctors Doctor. The highest tribute you cam give to a doctor. Moreover if you were his patient you also became his friend.My still remebers meeting him at the store and being greated like a friend. Our sympathies to the family of this man we so admired.

My name is Kathy (Fox) McConachie. I am from Sparta and my mom is Shirley Fox. Mom worked for Dr. Benson and the family were good friends. I babysat for Rebecca and Bradley. Bradley was ring bearer in our wedding. I am sorry to hear about Dr. Benson's death. We send our deepest sympathies.
