Saddened by hearing about Mr Coleman... he was my PE teacher in elementary and both him and his wife (my kindergarten teacher) were amazing human beings and will be deeply missed, not just by me - but many. Their impact is obvious and will never be forgotten.

"Mr. Coleman" as I always called him, was my softball coach for 7 years in addition to my PE instructor and most of all positive role model. He offered consistency and fairness and you always knew where you stood with him. Many students and parents of Marissa families will remember him fondly.

Susan and boys,
I'm sorry that I had no idea how ill Gene was. He was such a friendly man all the many years I have known him...even to my husband, who he really didn't know. Know that I have been praying for him at Mass and in the Adoration Chapel daily, and I will continue. God's peace to all of you, and know that you are in my prayers, as well.

Susan and Family: We are so sorry for your loss. Gene was in our Frankfort High School Class of '59. Even though we were unable to be with Gene in his adult years, we enjoyed our short visits at our reunions these past 50 years. We will always remember Gene as a "genuine friend" during those High School days. He was always a lot of fun to be around so we know he will be missed by the family. We will be praying for all of you.
