Richard Zipfel
Richard Zipfel, 62, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Evansville, Ill., born Feb. 4, 1947, in Red Bud, Ill., died Saturday, April 18, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Richard was a Vietnam veteran and he worked at the VA for 29 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfons and Frances, nee Kumke, Zipfel; and his brother, Dennis Zipfel.
Surviving are his brothers, Al Ray, Larry, and Frank (Delores) Zipfel all of Belleville, Ill., Gary (Gail) Zipfel of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Steve and Jim Zipfel both of St. Petersburg, Fla.; his sister, Charmaine Hughes of Belleville, Ill.; his special friend, Mark Roosa; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2009, at St. Luke's Church in St. Petersburg, Fla. His wishes were to be cremated.
