Robert Walls Obituary
Robert Lewis Walls Sr., 53, of Granite City, Ill., born Sept. 28, 1956, in Centralia, Ill., died at 11:46 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Walls was a dispatcher at Washington University. He was a member of the Meridian Lodge No. 2 AF & AM in St. Louis, Mo., and was a veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olas Thompson and Mary Catherine, nee Grayson, Walls; a son, Robert Lewis Walls Jr.; and two brothers.
Surviving are his sons, Robert Lewis (Cielo) Walls III of Pearblossom, Calif., and James Gregor (Valerie) Walls of Collinsville, Ill.; his daughter, Arlena (Blaine) Cayson of Collinsville, Ill.; four grandchildren; four sisters, Janice (Hugh) Burris of Waterloo, Ill., Donna (Ronnie) King of Hillsboro, Mo., Louise (Ed) Davis of Sorento, Ill., and Linda Smith of Fairview Heights, Ill.; three brothers, Olas "Dimples" Walls of Festus, Mo., Mike (Vickie) Mills of Fairdealing, Mo., and James (Shiella) Walls of Troy, Ill.; he was formerly married to Lynn Ann Burgess of Palmdale, Calif., and Patricia Ann Walls of Pocahontas, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the Masons.
Visitation: None.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
