Roy Buttry Obituary
Roy L. Buttry, Jr., age 74, of Troy, Ill., born March 27, 1940, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Highland Healthcare, Highland, Ill.
Mr. Buttry was a horseman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucinda "Cindy," nee Myers, Buttry; his daughter, Patty Robinson; his father, Roy L. Buttry, Sr.; and his mother, Dorothy L., nee Roberson, Potter.
Surviving are his daughter, Debbie (Tom) Lorenzo of Florida; his four grandchildren, Jerry (Amie) Robinson, Scott (Mendy) Robinson, Joe Robinson, and Alessia Lorenzo; two great-greatchildren, Janie and Jordynn Robinson; two sisters, Deanna Schniers of Collinsville, Ill. and Connie (John) Obernuefemann of Troy, Ill.; his aunt, Gladys Moore of Belleville, Ill.; and nieces, cousins, and friends.
Thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff of Anderson Hospital for the excellent care you gave Roy.

Visitation: Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at the Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, Ill., with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Ill.
