Belleville, Illinois - Stephen T. Mank, 66, of Belleville, Illinois passed away Friday, April 23rd, 2021. He was born in Redwood City, California on February 25th, 1955 to Thomas and Shirley (Bricker) Mank.
Stephen is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mank, sister, Michelle H. Graves, brother, Timothy Mank, grandparents, Charles Bricker and Evelyn Mae Bricker-Shunk.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri (Monroe) Mank of Belleville, Illinois; children, Stephen (Jamie) Mank, Andrew Mank, Jason Monroe, daughter-in-law, Shay Mank, 7 grandchildren; Chayse, Mason, Emma, Olivia, Jameson, Landyn, Lucas, and special companion, Clarity. He is further survived by his father, Thomas (Cheryl) Mank, sister, Maura (Jeffrey) Leehy, brother, Daniel (Diane) Mank, father and mother-in-law, Paul and Sandy Monroe and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Stephen was a Millwright, working at U.S. Steel and Harcross (Pfizer), he was also an avid sports fan including Khoury League, ASA and IHSA, umpire, follower and enthusiast, and loved watching Channel 59.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 27th, 2021 at Valhalla Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.
Funeral will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at Valhalla Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to funeral.
Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to Siteman Cancer Center.
