Dr. Klingele has been revered in our household since my mother, Nancy, went to work for him when he started his ophthalmology practice in Belleville. My mom loved him dearly, and passed on that love and respect to us. I was moved by his kindness when he came to her memorial service in 2016. I hope they are enjoying old memories together again. My sister and I wish you comfort in this time.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Klingele at St. Elizabeth´s Hospital & also followed him to his surgery center. He was an amazing man, very confident, very intelligent. I could ask him a question about anything, and he had the answer.
I am so sorry for your great loss.
.
He will be missed.....

The family has my sympathy. I received good care at the Doctor's practice and saw him fly a MIG at a Scott airshow. I attended college in Quincy and lunched at the Maid Rite many times. I'd heard the family name in Quincy and always wondered if the Doctor was related, but I never had the chance to ask him. When it came to a full life, the man didn't get cheated.
