Theresa Kohlhaas
Theresa "Terri" Kohlhaas, nee Maier, 72, of Collinsville, Ill., born June 13, 1935, in Haubstadt, Ind., died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Kohlhaas worked at Miss Hullings Caf‚ & Bakery in St. Louis, Mo., Granite City Steel Food Services and Laidlaw Bus Services. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Collinsville, Ill.
Mrs. Kohlhaas enjoyed fishing, crocheting and the running of horses at Fairmount Park. She even had a horse named for her and her husband, Razor Ter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. "Razor" Kohlhaas; her parents, Gilbert and Frances Maier; and a brother, August Maier.
She is survived by her stepsons, Raymond D. (Jill) Kohlhaas of Collinsville, Ill., Dennis (Michelle) Kohlhaas of Troy, Mo., and Ron Kohlhaas of Alton, Ill.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Otilda "Tillie" Byrne of Fairview Heights, Ill.; brothers, John Maier of Haubstadt, Ind., and Emil Maier of Velpen, Ind.; a dear nephew, John R. (Nancy) Byrne of Fairview Heights, Ill.; many nieces and nephews.
In honor of Mrs. Kohlhaas, memorials are suggested to either the American Cancer Society, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5691, Collinsville, Ill., or Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at the funeral home with Father James Deiters officiating.
A Mass of Intention will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at the old St. Clair Chapel in O'Fallon, Ill.
