Todd Horsley

Todd Lee Horsley, 57, of Dupo, Ill., died on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.

Dear son of the late Dallas Young and Ruby Arta, nee Russell, Horsley. Devoted father to his daughter, Kendra (Paul Christian) Horsley and to the late Jason Todd Horsley; cherished brother to Russell (Darlene) Horsley, Pamela K. Roussin, the late George A. Horsley, and the late Phyllis J. Randolph; loving and devoted grandfather to Kabe Cox and Ayla Christian. Best friend to Jake "the big red dog." Todd was a very special uncle, great-uncle, and a very good friend to many.

Todd was happily retired from his career as a conductor on the Union Pacific Railroad and had been enjoying his favorite activities, travelling and spending time with his daughter, grandchildren and friends. He was an outstanding golfer, fisherman and all around outdoorsman.

Todd will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.

There are so many great and happy memories of Todd its hard to pick just one to share. The one that sticks with me the most was being at a get together and I was trying to get my daughter to eat and she wasn't eating much. Todd was sitting next to us and cuts a small piece of his porksteak and feeds it to my 3 year old and she loved it. Of course he cut her more. Lol every time after then he always refers to her as his porksteak girl. And last time I talked to him he brought this up ;) So many other great memories come to mind I could go on and on. He will be greatly missed. But I know he was so proud of Kendra and his grandkids, he spoke of them literally every time I seen him. He will live on through you all!!

Todd was such a great person to be around. He was always so caring, fun loving, and accepting of me. He always made me feel like part of his family and I thought of him as a friend. I know that he truly loved his family and was a great grandfather to my precious son. He was loved and will be truly missed. I pray he rests in peace in God's arms and that his family will all find God's peace that he offers and wants us to have. I'm thankful for our time with you Todd. You are and will be missed.
