Paducah, Kentucky - Wesley J. "Wes" Buddemeyer, 30, of Paducah, KY, born Wednesday, March 20, 1991, at Beale, AFB, CA, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Wesley worked as a chef in the restaurant industry. He attended Damascus Road Fellowship Church in Belleville IL. Wes was known by his family and friends for his generous heart and kind spirit, and gave the gift of life through tissue and organ donation. He loved all animals, music and enjoyed playing his violin and guitar. Cooking was another passion, and he aspired to one day, own his own food truck.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Doreen Buddemeyer, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Maynard and Dorothy Garrett.
Surviving are his parents, Ralph and Valla, nee Garrett, Buddemeyer of Belleville, IL; brother, Austin Buddemeyer of Greendale, WI; sister, Jenna (Jacob) McCloud of Westminster, MA; niece, Collins McCloud.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to McCracken County Humane Society.
Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday, December 20, 2021 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL and from 10:00 - 11:00 am Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Damascus Road Fellowship Church in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Damascus Road Fellowship Church with Mr. Jeff Baltes officiating. Interment will follow at Green Mount Protestant Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
