Adam Basaraba Obituary

Professionally, Adam was well known in the international construction business, serving 40 years with Morrison Knudsen. As a job superintendant and project manager, his reputation for professionalism, hard work, and the highest personal integrity were known throughout the industry. Adam was a company man who always put the success of the job and the welfare of his employees first. His career spanned the globe, working to build bridges, roads, tunnels, dams, reservoirs, and mines in places such as Papua New Guinea, South America, and Cuba, where he was even held hostage by revolutionaries and pressed into labor as Raul Castro's driver. Personally, Adam was a loving and dedicated husband and provider, and a caring and encouraging father and grandfather, setting an example of integrity, trust, and reliability for his children and grandchildren. He loved sunshine, watching baseball, working in his garden, fishing and grilling for his family. He leaves behind his wife Shelley, his children Renee, Monty (Joann), Bobbi (Paul), and Kevin. Grandchildren Erin, Emily, Anna, Natalie, Bodhi, and Cohen. Arrangements by:
