Becky Chugg-Covington Obituary
December 10, 1953 - October 5, 2024
Maple Falls, Washington - Becky Chugg-Covington suddenly passed away on October 5, 2024. She was a compassionate, funny, kind-hearted person, and a lifelong teacher. Becky loved her family, her friends, and her faith (LDS).
She is survived by her siblings: Melodee Tovey (sister), David Covington (brother), and Joni Lindberg (sister). Her children: Jessica Hansen (daughter), Griff Hansen (son-in-law), Katie Chugg (daughter), David Chugg (son) and Judy Chugg (daughter-in-law). Her grandchildren: Alexandria Strandberg, Elizabeth Chugg, Jayden Hansen, Wilber Chugg, and Jaxen Hansen. Becky was predeceased her parents: Max (father) and Eddis (mother) Covington; her brothers: Val Covington, and Val Covington.
She graduated from Blackfoot High School, and got her Bachelor's at Idaho State University. Becky taught for American Falls High School, Upward Bound Program, Shoshone-Bannock Tribe, Elko Junior High, and the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, October, 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 503 Everson Road, Everson, WA.
