Lupita Crisman Obituary

Lupita "Pee Dee" Maldonado Crisman, 78, of Maple Falls, Washington, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2025.

Born in Yakima on July 28, 1947, Pee Dee graduated from Toppenish High School in 1966 and attended Western Washington University to study art. She was a gifted artist who loved painting, sewing, and drawing. She also enjoyed antiquing and garage sales with her husband, and for seven years proudly ran her own business.

Pee Dee will be remembered as a kind and caring wife, mother, and friend. Her laughter-especially while watching her favorite sitcoms-filled the home with joy. She cherished time spent with friends at lunches and dinners and loved cheering on the Seattle Mariners.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bob; daughters Shani and Jenny (Art); grandson Preston; close family friend Tricia; brothers Ray, Rudy, and Lindsey; sister Liz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Raymond; brothers Bobby, Ron, Manuel, and Alan; sisters Judy, Eva, Olga, and Nadine (Dino); and her beloved cat, Ivan.

At her request, no services will be held.

Earlier today

As a young child Pee Der treated me like one of her family. I remember going on many excursions with her family. One of my favorite ones was going to the Point Robert´s Arts and Crafts Festival.
