Celia Caroline Onkels~Hogan

We are sad to announce the passing of Celia Onkels~Hogan. A life long good fiend of Celia's described her as " being larger than life". She began her career as a model in Seattle and eventually moved to New York, where she met her husband Frank Satenstein, and had two daughters. Frank and Celia traveled to exotic places, and she even danced with President LB Johnson. When they divorced Celia and her daughters settled in Miami where she worked for Chris Craft as an Interior Decorater. Celia married James Jay Hogan in 1976 and together they raised her daughters. Celia was a fierce tennis and bridge player, golfer and enjoyed gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Jay and brothers Peter and Paul Onkels. She is survived by her daughters Sloan Klein and Dr. Skylar Ulrich, six grand children, her brother David Onkels and her sister Stephanie Onkels, both of Bellingham, Washington.
