Dan Stock, Big brother to 10, Dad to 2, Grandpa to 8; did his last long haul trip meeting Jesus at heavens door January 19, 2022. Dan was born in Port Angles but was raised in Whatcom County, graduating from Meridian High School in 1967. Dan served his country, leaving for Viet Nam when his first born was just 2 weeks old. After returning from Viet Nam he worked at Mt Baker Plywood and Intalco. Dan lived life quietly participating in all sorts of things; water skiing, snow skiiing, becoming a pilot, jeeping, horseback riding, riding his Harley and finally-fulfilling his life long dream becoming a long haul truck driver with all the endorsements and working for KCPK Company. Trucking back and forth across the USA. Dan was quick to share the fact that, once he began long haul trucking, he "enjoyed it so much, he felt like he never had to work again!" Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Chloe Stock, his brother Michael and sister Karen. Dan will be remembered and missed by his number one son, Ken and wife Gwen, by his loving daughter Kimberly and Dan's best friend and son in law John Koch. Along with his Stock grandchildren, Griffen, Madelyn, Greysen, Luis and Armando; his Koch grandchildren, Aiden, Dallis and little buddy Kash. Dan's sisters Sherrie Marshall, Maureen Good, Shawn Spatz, and Erin Cherochak, brothers Lary and wife Deena, Ryan, Ross, and Casey, his friend Dave Marshall and many others, too many to name.
Dan Stock, was one of the "nice guys" who will be missed by as great many- as he was loved.
