Donald James Chrisman

1937 - 2016

Don Chrisman, 79, of Bothell, WA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2016. He was born in Bellingham. His Life Celebration to be determined at a later time. Don enjoyed many years of work in the electrical wholesale business in Washington and Oregon. He played, and later coached, baseball and golf including the Pacific Coast League for the Bellingham Bells baseball team and golf pro at Pasadena Golf and Country Club. In his leisure time he cared for a large yard and gardens at homeit was his oasis. Don loved weekend trips with his wife and their dogs, exploring coastal towns and discovering local eateries. He was always there to help family with projects whenever they needed him. He is forever in our hearts. Don is survived by wife, Karen (Christopher) Chrisman. He was a father of two children, David Chrisman and Karis Chrisman. He is also survived by brother Paul Chrisman (Doris) and nephews Gary and Bobby Chrisman (Kathy); three grandchildren, Cassandra Chrisman (Justin), Dale Chrisman (Jesi), Scott (Thomas) Hill; great granddaughter Charlie Chrisman; sister-in-law Carol Christopher; niece Lee Anne Riddle (Reggie) and children, Megan, Justin, and Kristin; daughter-in-law Kelly (Meehan) Chrisman; and many other relatives and friends. Don is preceded by parents, Paul Chrisman Sr. and Mabel (Martin) Chrisman; siblings Robert, Edwin and Molly; Karen's parents Gordon Christopher (Esther). Don will be laid to rest at the Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, Washington. Memorial donations may be made in Don's name to NOAH Animal Center, 31300 Brandstrom Rd, Stanwood, WA 98292.
