Don and I met at UCSD and remained friends throughout the years. Because of Don, I have many good memories and great stories of road trips and off-road adventures throughout Baja and Borrego. He was a good friend and a source of inspiration. My thoughts and sympathies go out Tina and his son Reed. He will be missed.

" I've spent alot of time with him many years ago riding around in his jeep in the desert. He was such a wisecrack. So many hilarious stories. Precious moments that will always make me laugh. A bright adventurous soul that I've had the honor and pleasure to know. My deepest thoughts and prayers for his wife and son."

I worked with Don when he was in Seattle at Mathsoft. He was always a great guy to be around, always ready to help, or make a smart aleck comment, or offer good advice. I really enjoyed working with him, and I am very sorry to hear about his passing, and my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family.
