Doris Ferry
January 29, 1926 - August 17, 2022
Bellingham, Washington - Doris Kathryn Ferry, age 96 of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2022 at Rosewood Villa. Born and raised in western Kansas, Doris moved out west to Washington at age 18. She achieved her life's ambition as a Registered Nurse and continued to work in this profession for 40 years in Bellingham. Doris enjoyed flowers, music, cats, holidays, and many road trips over the years to the Tulip Festival, the Cascade Loop, the Oregon Coast, and her very favorite vacation spot, Disneyland. Doris is survived by her daughter Laurie and husband Timothy Ungs of Rapid City, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Ferry Jr. and brothers LeRoy, William and Gerald Olsen. At Doris' request, there will be no services.

I remember your kind mother both as a nurse for Dr. Watts and from being at your house in high school. I'm glad you had so many years with her.
I have good memories of you Laurie. I wish you peace during this hard time.

Laurie,
I have fond memories of your mother. I'll never forget her zeal for Christmas decorations - especially her tree ornaments. My sympathy to you and Timothy.
