Dragan, we never met but your positivity, generosity and huge heart effected those that I care about dearly. Thank you for having such a positive impact on them as well as having such a profound effect on virtually all that you crossed paths with. You spread the light that you were born with, thank you Dragan.
You survived hell on Earth in your home country to come here and start anew; from what I've heard and read about you you really made it count. You left us, yes, but you didn't leave us empty or unaffected. You made it count. Thank you, Dragan. May you rest in peace, brother.

I remember standing on our balconies and waving at each other almost daily. When we met, you always greeted me with a smile and kind words. You treated everyone equally. Such a sweet man with a gentle soul. My prayers to your family. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I met Dragan in 2006, when we both worked at the Little Nickel in Bremerton. What a character. We did sales calls together and laughed our way through presentations. Of course we became friends immediately. I was amazed with his loyalty to all of his friends and family. Then I realized, he was my loyal friend too :-) He certainly brightened many of my days. Long talks about solving the world's problems, sharing life dreams, talked about our own struggles. After reading so many posts, we all had the joy knowing him. My heart is broken. I still do not believe it. Not Dragan. I shed tears every day. He was so blessed to be loved by so many. RIP Dragan – thanks for letting me be a part of your life – I wish we started your book – I will remember you always. I send healing prayers to his family, friends and to all of the “Cookies” and “Ninjas” out there :-)

I never met Dragan but talked to him on the phone when he was with my sister Beatrice. He loved and cared for my sister so much that I felt at ease knowing my sister was not alone. He made me laugh all the time on the phone with his jokes and just a great sense of humor. We called Dragan "Chikondi" meaning love in Chichewa from Malawi.
I don't know what to say other than pray for God's peace, comfort and strength to embrace the family, my sister Beatrice and all his friends during this difficult time.
Gone too soon my brother, I will forever be grateful that you cared deeply for my sister and was very protective of her.
May your soul rest in peace.

I'm selfish because I miss you already. You were a brother and comsomite companion in life. There are very few people who had the enthusiasm and confidence in their enthusiasm you did; I'll never forget you brother. We say goodbye Saturday, but that intangable enthusiasm for life will ride with me for life. Love you my friend.

I met Dragan only a few times, but can remember the gentle soul that everyone keeps referring to. This is a tragic and senseless. As someone who has lost a few people along my travels, our heartfelt condolences go out to all of his friends and family members. May his memory, light, and grace shine upon you all always.

I did not know Dragan, but was at the intersection on that Memorial Day morning. I rushed to the scene to help, and was by his side when the police and medics arrived.
So many beautiful words and cherished memories have been shared about Dragan in the news blogs and online, I could only imagine what he was like during his short time with us. My best wishes to Dragan's family and friends who knew and loved him. I am sure he is smiling down on you.

I met Dragan Skrobonja at the age of 17, back 1996 on the steps of my apartment at Sunset Pond. I just moved here from Florida and I knew not a soul. Then here came Dragan... He saw I was displaced and lonely, a foreigner if you will! He knew that feeling all to well.
It was love at first sight. Although we were friends we both knew we were soulmates..
Alas life chose a different direction for us both. Dragan became like a brother. Aaron and him were inseparable, as were Zana and I.
Dragan held Aarons newborn daughter just as Zana held mine years later....
Dragan had a way of bridging the gap in humanity. I met so MANY amazing people just by knowing him! People who to this day are some of my dearest friends.
I learned so much about myself just by being in his presence.. My heart will forever remain broken with his departure!!!! Dragan Skrobonja, you are LOVED!! GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!
The light and love you emitted will never leave this world!! You are forever imbedded in our souls and our hearts...

I got to be around Dragan on a couple different occasions over the years. He was the sweetest person. Always making you feel amazing. He had that charisma that you just wanted to be around him and he welcomed you in. I am very sad to hear this has happened to him. Gone to soon. Rest In Paradise.
