Bellingham, Washington - Fred J. Morgan, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Bellingham on April 18, 2025. Born to Goldie and Raymond Morgan in Longview, WA, Fred was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Fred lived a life rich in love, laughter, and generosity. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Ophelia, with whom he shared countless memories; his five children, Terry, Kris, Sherry, Shaun, and Rebecca; and his beloved grandchildren. Fred's legacy is carried forward through their lives, filled with love and the lessons he imparted.

Fred was a successful man. He was sharp with an unshakable drive, led with determination, and was always business minded in his thinking. One of his memorable accomplishments was bringing San Juan Cable to the Lummi community, a testament to his vision and commitment to making a difference. Fred was also a passionate cook whose meals brought joy to everyone around him. He poured love into everything he made, always creating delicious meals from scratch that reflected his unsparing spirit and creativity. His kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable flavors.

Fred was a deeply loving and supportive grandfather. His grandkids were a light in his life, and he never missed a chance to share a story, laugh, or warm hug. As a friend, he was the best anyone could ask for - kind, dependable, and always there. Fred was also an amazing husband to Ophelia, offering unwavering support, love, and companionship. His love will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Fred's memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew him as we celebrate a life well lived, and a spirit that touched many.

Fred's family extends their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. A prayer service will be held at 5:00pm on Monday, April 28, at Westford Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, April 29, at Westford Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, with reception following.
