As a young teenager I delivered Hal's newspaper. One morning my accuracy failed me and the paper penetrated his storm door window. Since it was still early and no lights were on inside the house, I felt it unwise to awaken "Mr. Keller" since I was already in deep trouble. Arriving home after finishing my route, I mustered all my courage and dialed the number. "Mr. Keller" answered and when I said I had thrown his paper through his front door window, without hesitation, he very calmly and reassuringly said, "No you didn't, it was already broken." Hal Keller is a true hero and gentleman to me. He taught me a wonderful life lesson that I have used with tremendous satisfaction. I will always remember Hal Keller.

I wish to send my sympathy and condolences to Hal and the family upon the loss of your dad. I remember being a part of the young people Hal coached during his short stint at FHS. His knowledge and skills helped me learn baseball and provided me a determination to succeed in my life's career. I visualize the heavens being spiritually enhanced and coached upon his presence with our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with Carol and her family.
