James Prill Obituary
August 5, 1942 - September 27, 2025
Blaine, Washington - James (Jim) Douglas Prill passed away in Blaine, WA on September 27th, 2025 at the age of 83. Jim was born August 5th, 1942 in Hillsboro, Wisconsin to Joseph and Amelia Prill, the youngest of six children. As a preschooler, he and his family moved to Washington State, eventually settling in Auburn. After graduating from high school, Jim enlisted in the Air Force. Following his service, he enrolled at Western Washington University where he earned a degree in business, with focus on accounting. After several years working in the Bellingham area as a certified public accountant, he transitioned to a long career at Dawson Construction where he worked until retirement. Jim was married to his first wife, and mother of his two children, Andy and Erin, for 17 years. Later, he married Glenda Merriman, who survives him as his spouse of nearly 40 years. For many years, Jim and Glenda spent winters in Arizona, where he enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends. Jim is also survived by his son Andy (Michelle), daughter Erin Raschke (Phil), step-sons Phillip and Dan (Marola) Quimby, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.

A dear, dear friend, Jim, you will be missed. We had a lot of adventures with you and Glenda over the years, and so enjoyed being close friends and neighbors first at Chartwell, then Semiahmoo. Our times in AZ were magical. Our thoughts are with Glenda and the family.
