Jason Stone Obituary

Jason Stone
July 4, 1973 - January 4, 2021
Portland, Oregon - On January 4, 2021 Jason R. Stone a long-time resident of Blaine lost his short battle with cancer. Jason was a one-of-a-kind totally unique human being. He loved his family and friends and would have stayed with us forever if he could have. Jason was forgiving, caring, and loving with the most amazing sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest of days. A couple of his favorite things to do to make us laugh was yell random things out of the car window at strangers and sneak up on people and scare them. Jason loved to read and collect old books. He was interested in religion, astronomy, and WW2. Jason was in the process of getting his welding degree and was almost finished when school was put on hold due to COVID-19 and then a cancer diagnosis. He suffered from a bone disease that caused him to live most of his life in some degree of pain and brought with it many barriers and challenges. After years of self-medicating Jason was finally at a place in his life where he was able to manage the pain in a responsible way and started building the life he deserved. That was something that Jason as well as his family was so incredibly proud of.
Jason leaves behind a son Jacob who he loved more than anything, 3 siblings Scott, Jennifer, and April who he lived with at the time of is passing. Numerous nieces and nephews 2 of them Lizzy and Marshall held a special place in his heart. Many aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved him as much as he loved them. Jason is preceded in death by his mom Judy Lemmon of Blaine and his dad Ralph Stone of California.
There will be a celebration of life for Jason at his church Blaine Christion Fellowship on March 27 at 2 pm.
