Lee Kraft Obituary

Lee Sophie Kraft died Saturday, January 19th, 2008, having lived her life on her own terms, with gusto and zest. Open to adventure, and with a persistent curiosity, Lee enjoyed spinning, weaving, basketry, gardening, camping, traveling, bicycling, kayaking, and just about anything else that sparked her attention. Her many friends will attest to this diversity, her passion for life. She cared for and valued these friends as much as they did her. Although she died of the effects of cancer, she never allowed it to define who she was or what she did. She had inner strength and grit, and she was really having too much fun to give in to the disease. Her daughter Jann, son Paul, and husband Ken will host a celebration of her life in early spring, a favorite time of her year. We all miss her. We all loved her.
